GRISTMILL GUIDE TO GIRLFRIEND'S GETAWAYS
The Inn at Gristmill Square is the PERFECT spot for a girlfriend’s getaway! Whether visiting for a small bachelorette party, a spa/wellness weekend, or to just reconnect, you can pack light and plan to relax and rejuvenate with your besties.
Day 1
Upon arrival immediately pop open a bottle of champagne (or two) that you pre-ordered for your room and toast to getting together at our little inn! Arrive early enough to get afternoon appointments at the Warm Spirit Spa (just across the street). Slip into our plush terrycloth robes and saunter over to enjoy one of the best hot stone massages you will ever have, promise! After everyone is rested, book dinner in your room so you can relax with friends without having to wash off all those great essential oils.
Day 2
In the morning book a private cider tasting with Troddenvale* (walking distance) or a driving tour of the area*. After your adventure pop into Warm Springs Gallery’s Garden Café and grab lunch. For afternoon fun, book a soak at the Warm Springs Pools. They offer hour long soaks in the natural hot springs.
Day 3
After another bountiful breakfast in bed, take a road trip to the Salt Cave* over in West Virginia. Enjoy relaxing in a cave constructed entirely from pink Himalayan salt. This is a 45 minute relaxing and restorative experience. While you are over there drive a little further to the great town of Lewisburg, WV. One of Kate’s favorite day trips. Go shopping for the best deal on shoes at Yarid’s, pop into local favorite Wolf Creek Gallery, and be sure to get lunch at the Stardust Café. Walk off lunch with a stroll around this cute little town and check out all the other antique stores and galleries. Before the drive home grab a coffee from the Wild Bean.
Drive home via Route 220 and stop by Falling Springs Falls for a selfie with your gal pals! You’ll want a great snap to remember what an awesome trip you’ve enjoyed together.
Make dinner reservations at Jefferson’s at The Omni Homestead Resort* to cap off the day. Be sure to book Brandon of B&L’s Mountain Safe Transportation* to pick you up and bring you back to the Inn safely. Bath County’s version of Uber!
