Once serving as the town’s feed and hardware store, this building was restored in 1972. Rooms in the Hardware Store are across from the Mill. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers, mini-fridges, and hair dryers. Some rooms have a/c window units, while others (as noted) have recently been upgraded with mini-splits. The Silo, Board, Dinwiddie, Singapore Rooms and the Tower Apartment are dog-friendly. A non-refundable pet fee of $50 will be added to the room.

One of the Inn’s premier rooms, uniquely round, featuring a King bed on the ground floor. Relax in the over-sized whirlpool tub and let your stresses float away. In the cooler months enjoy sitting in front of the fireplace.

Dinwiddie Room
This guest favorite showcases a gorgeous mantle taken from Civil War era Fort Dinwiddie. This large “colonial” style bedroom features a lovely king bed. Soak in the soaking tub and relax your troubles away. In the cooler months, enjoy the beautiful mantle and fireplace.

The Singapore is a large room with a huge picture window over-looking the main street. Guests will appreciate the mix of modern and antique furnishings which give this room a whimsical feel. The shower features an oversized tiled shower with multiple rain heads.

This spacious apartment includes a unique round living room in the upper level of the Silo, heated tile floor, and deck access. A small kitchen equipped with a microwave, small oven/stove, cooking utensils, and dishes. Down the hall you’ll find a guest room with a queen bed, 1 and a half bathrooms, and a master bedroom with a king bed.

Bromley Room
Named after a Vermont area where the former innkeepers used to live, the Bromley room is a large room awash in the natural sunlight that comes in from the large picture window overlooking the main road through town. A modern four-poster king bed is featured in the room. Enjoy the privacy of your own small balcony. In the cooler months, enjoy a fire in the fireplace.

Craven Suite
A cozy one-bedroom suite, the Craven is fondly named for the architectural firm that transformed the Inn into the village-like feel it has today. The small sitting area is perfect for gathering before dinner for a glass of wine. Book the Craven with the Bromley room for a two-bedroom suite feel if you are traveling with friends or family, as these two rooms share a main entrance.
